Hi, I’m Stephanie — the owner and dreamer behind The Velvet Moon. 🌙

The Velvet Moon started from a simple idea: I wanted to create the kind of boutique I would genuinely love to shop. A place filled with pieces that feel a little bohemian, a little romantic, a little unexpected — but are still comfortable, wearable, and affordable for real life.

As a working mom, I know what it’s like to love beautiful clothes while also looking at a price tag and thinking, okay…but can I actually justify that? I wanted The Velvet Moon to feel different. My goal is to bring you those special, Free People-inspired statement pieces alongside cozy sets, everyday basics, denim, accessories, and easy favorites — without everything coming with a luxury price tag.

My daughter has also been a huge inspiration behind this little dream. I wanted to build something that women and their daughters could have fun shopping together — with styles for different ages, personalities, sizes, and stages of life.

Every piece you see here is intentionally chosen by me. I’m building this boutique around clothes I’d wear, pieces I’d recommend to a friend, and things that make you feel a little more like you when you put them on.

The Velvet Moon is just beginning, and I’m incredibly excited to see what this little dream becomes.
